Overview
This webinar series addresses each of the three Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) statutorily recognized special populations – homelessness, residents of public housing, agricultural workers and their families, and is is aimed at those who are responsible for gathering and reporting the data elements included in the UDS Report, as well as management and clinical staff who need to understand the definitions and concepts used, and those who use the data in their program management and quality improvement activities.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the current HHS definitions of the three statutorily recognized special populations – homelessness, residents of public housing, agricultural workers and their families
- Learn the importance of accurately reporting and documenting the social determinants of health for special populations
- Identify and foster best practices for documenting special populations to improve health care access and delivery
Expert Speakers
Expert speakers from three National Cooperative Agreement organizations — National Health Care for the Homeless Council, National Center for Health in Public Housing, and National Center for Farmworker Health — will present on each of the three HRSA statutorily recognized special populations.
