Keynote speaker: Lorna Luft
Lorna Luft is a health advocate, Broadway star, and author of two books –“Me and My Shadows” and “A Star is Born: Judy Garland and the Film that Got Away.” She is also the daughter of the beloved legendary star, Judy Garland. Lorna talks candidly about the challenges of mental illness, the impact it has on women and their children and the courage it takes to seek healing. Luft recognizes the importance of comprehensive healthcare. She’s battled breast cancer three times and survived brain tumor surgery. Despite her own health concerns, Lorna continues to be a dedicated philanthropist who fights for a breast cancer cure. Lorna is also a major advocate for children’s healthcare and generously supports charities that provide HIV/AIDS services. Lorna is a founding board member of The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative.
Join us and be inspired by Lorna’s strength and triumphs. You will be awed as this Emmy-Award winning artist shares her compassion and love for her Mother and family while giving us insights into an amazing legacy.
